About Us


History of Cultúr
In the early days, Cultúr primarily focused on organising and facilitating music, arts, sports and drama events to promote intercultural awareness and activities all of which were supported and delivered by volunteers.
During the intervening years Cultúr has continued to build relationships with migrants living in Co. Meath and has developed and nurtured positive working relationships key stakeholders in the county concerned with migrant issues. Our work has grown and changed and in 2010 we developed a new strategic plan which is underpinned by a community work approach which will direct our work over the next three years.
Strategic Plan 2010-2013
Cultúr has adopted a new strategic plan for 2010 -2013 and in this plan we have developed a new vision and mission statement and four strategic work areas and goals linked to each area.
Vision
Our vision is a culturally inclusive society, where migrants, asylum seekers and refugees enjoy full participation and equality.
CULTÚR Mission
Cultúr is a community organisation that works with migrants, asylum seekers and refugees promoting equal rights and opportunities to develop an intercultural County Meath.
